Private Lessons

Picture
Private lessons are one of the best ways to advance on your instrument.  Whether you are preparing for All-State, Solo/Ensemble contest, or just want to get better, lesson are the way to go.  With instruction tailored to your individual needs you will be amazed at the progress you make.  I am a music doctoral student at UNL with years of professional performing experience in an Army Band, as well as five years public school teaching experience. I hold teaching certification in Minnesota, South Dakota, and Nebraska. I earned a Bachelors of Music degree in education and performance from the University of Jamestown, and a Masters of Music from Sam Houston State University.  While primarily a saxophone player I have extensive performance experience on trumpet and clarinet, and have taught all standard band instruments at the high school level.  Lessons are a half hour, once  a week, and are paid for in advance a month at a time.  Cancelations communicated with 24 hours notice can be rescheduled at no additional fee.  Group Lessons and Family Discounts are available.
